All my music is on my Mac, and I create a playlist in mp3 on the Mac, burn it to cd, and import that into the PC and into Winamp. And when done, I should click on Save Track, rather than Save as Album?
OK, I made the settings change in Preferences. So, I need to click on each song name, and stop immediately at the end, or it won't go to the next one in the list. One downside to this Save as Album is that if in the controls I click for the next song, it does not go to the next one in my list, but the next one in the album the song came from that may be later on in my playlist. (Maybe the earlier attempts had ones fairly similar, so it really was not doing anything.) Is Replay Gain what I should use for this purpose, and do I click on Save as Album. It seemed to normalize song volumes for awhile, but not lately.
Then what do I do? I have been clicking on Save As Album. When I create the playlist, highlight all the tracks, Send to Replay Gain, it then goes thru all the calculations. I am trying to use Replay Gain for this purpose, but am not sure I am using it properly (if in fact, it can do this). I use Winamp for Internet Radio broadcasting, so I want the songs to be close to the same volume level.
